Weekly update 38

I've had two significant happenings this week. On Tuesday, I presented my research and EnSitu/Bungee as a webinar to a diverse audience. Those who signed up were from several federal agencies (USFWS, USGS, NPS, USEPA, BLM), 8+ universities, conservation NGOs, USA and Canada, all totaling 90+ people. The final attendance was 59. I'm excited for the turnout because I've not had the opportunity to present to so many before. And, if I may say so, it went pretty well.
On top of that, I made somewhat of a breakthrough on my third chapter this week. I'm feeling pretty confident that I now know what causes some development areas to get big reductions in impact, and as a result can move forward with some kind of statistical analysis to back that up. The finding, if I'm right, is good and bad. But I'm going to leave that conclusion for another week when I have some proof.
